[Electro House] Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell- Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (Van O Remix)

The odds of me getting whiteboy wasted and dancing like an absolute idiot to this song this weekend are very high. It's a monster track.

[Indie-Experimental] HEALTH- Goth Star (Pictureplane Cover)

Pictureplane's song Goth Star, released in 2009, is one of his better known tracks. HEALTH has recorded their own version of it; the main difference being that HEALTH uses real instruments. I like the original better but it's worth a peep.

[Electro] Röyksopp- Shores of Easy

This is a 13 minute track just self released by Röyksopp. You can start playing the song, get up and get a cup of coffee, let the dog out, take a piss, and you'll still be in the intro. It never picks up all that much but there are some crafty parts in the middle and towards the end. Overall, a very relaxing track and good to hear some new material from Röyksopp.

Here's a Röyksopp remix of a song by the Impressibles from back in March. Laden with actual violins and electro beats it's not to be missed.

[Electro] Glasser- Treasury of We (Delorean Remix)

This is a nice little Delorean remix, transforming the laid back Glasser track into something danceable by looping the vocals and tossing around banging piano keys and pan flutes.

[Electro-Pop] Penguin Prison- Fair Warning ( Dirty Vegas Remix)

The original Penguin Prison version of this is something I would probably never listen to but I like what Dirty Vegas does to it. There's a big build and great percussion. Penguin Prison remixed Dirty Vegas' Electric Love not so long ago...the favor has been returned.

[Electro Remix] Leona Lewis- Collide (Afrojack Remix)

First off- Leona Lewis is an absolute fox. When you hear this song you immediately think that it's Avicii's "Penguin" or "Fade Into Darkness". Think again... it's Leona Lewis' "Collide" remixed by Afrojack, who has been all over the radio lately. Avicii claims it was stolen from him and that he had no hand in this nor gave it approval. The Music Ninja had a great post on this controversy. Either way- it's going to be a popular track.

[Electro] M83 - Midnight City

This is the M83 teaser for the new album, "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming", that's expected to come out October 17th.

This is a brand new M83 track off of the new album that just came out. It's the same euphoric, synth-driven, pounding beat, M83 style we're used to except there's jazz-trumpet or saxophone thrown in there.

Madeon - Pop Culture (Live Mashup) + Download

The young Madeon samples 39 songs to create this masterpiece on the Novation Lanchpad. When I first saw this yesterday afternoon it had under 5,000 views and now it's at about 100,000. Going viral baby wooop wooop. Madeon is a mystical French Wizard! We must hang him! This video is probz going to launch him into mainstream popularity in the states.

Cut Copy- Blink and You'll Miss a Revolution (Toro Y Moi Remix)

Everyone knows that Toro Y Moi is the chillest chill-wave artist out there so his remix of this Cut Copy track off of their latest album is obviously hella chill. Modular Records just released it today but they didn't provide a legal downloadable mp3 (what a bummer).

The Glitch Mob- Warrior Concerto

New single from the groups upcoming We Can Make The World Stop EP. Using the Cold Stone Creamery likability scale of Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It.... I would give this song a Like It. It's kinda unique, it gradually builds up, there's the dragon/snake/monster in a canyon cover art, and it's in promotion of Lollapalooza.
